Do you have a warranty?
Yes, we warranty the wood bits for life and the non-wood bits for a year (original purchaser only).

Do you ship internationally? Yes.

Where are you located?  Phoenix, Arizona.

Do you have a physical store or sell through a reseller?  No, we are direct web sales only.

Do you have handgrips already made or "in-stock"?
Sometimes, but usually no.  We produce all of our handgrips to order and rarely keep any on hand (no pun intended).

How do I purchase a KinoGrip, KinoBall, KinoAdapter, or KinoTrigger?
All items are available in our web store or we can send you a PayPal invoice if it is more convenient.  Just email us.

How long does it take to finish my order?
All of our grip and trigger products are individually handmade to order in the USA.  Due to the pandemic, turnaround for our wood handgrips is approximately 6-8 weeks.  Non-grip items are currently 4-6 weeks (KinoBalls included).  All finish times are estimates and vary due to workload, complexity, parts availability, time of year, etc.  Special order items may require additional time.  If you need something sooner, contact us and we will try to accommodate.

How much does a handgrip, ball, cable, adapter, etc. cost?  All current prices are posted in our web store.

Can you make a handgrip for my "Brand X" camera?
Yes, our non-triggered handgrips will work with any camera.  Triggered handgrips depend on the camera model.  Compatible cameras are listed in the web store.  If your camera isn't listed contact us to verify compatibility.

Do you sell Aaton handgrips?
No.  We only repair, modify, and refurbish Aaton handgrips.  Our KinoGrip is inspired by the Aaton handgrip and is a close approximation.  We can also service, modify, and repair Ergocine and Vocas wood handgrips.

Do you offer different size handgrips?  Do you need my hand size?
Any sizing info you have is helpful.  Usually just knowing what your glove size is enough.  Our grips are cut to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes and probably fit a US men's M/L glove best.  If you have particularly small or large hands, let us know and we can make an adjustment.  We offer free resizing within the first three months of receiving your handgrip (please keep in mind we can only size a grip down, not up).

How long are the trigger cables?
All cable lengths are posted in our web store, but we can size cables to virtually any length you need.  Just make a note on your order.
We will be closed January 1st thru January 16th 2021 for some much needed cleaning of our workshop and year end inventory.  Orders can be placed during this time but will not be processed until we reopen (we recommend ordering to save your place in our build queue and avoid delays when we reopen).  We will have limited email support during this time.  All orders received by December 31st 2020 will be processed normally.

Covid-19 Shipping Information:

We hope all of our customers are staying safe and healthy during this trying time.  We are still making and selling handgrips though please keep in mind things are taking longer than normal due to the pandemic.  Normally domestic orders are shipped with signature required but we are waiving this requirement by default on orders under $150 for the safety of our customers and postal workers.  For orders over $150 you can request we waive the signature requirement or submit an electronic signature at USPS.com.  If you want the signature waived please contact us or simply make a note on your order.  Also please bear in mind that shipping has slowed considerably due to Covid restrictions and fewer commercial flights.  Domestic orders and international orders are equally affected.  In most instances add approximately 1-2 weeks for US domestic orders and 2-3 weeks for international orders.  If you have questions please contact us.  Thanks.

For our international customers we now offer two shipping options, Express Mail and Priority Mail.  Express Mail (EMS) offers tracking, insurance, and quick 3-5 business day
delivery (see above Covid-19 notice) to most parts of the World.  Priority Mail is a less expensive option that offers tracking (depending on country), insurance, and 7-10 business day delivery (see above Covid-19 notice) to most major overseas locations.  If you find the Express Mail or Priority Mail services too expensive, please contact us.  We are happy to provide you with a quote for AirMail.  This might be a good option for smaller less expensive items like cables and hardware.  Please keep in mind that AirMail can take 2-3 weeks to arrive (see above Covid-19 notice) and generally does not provide tracking or insurance.  We can also ship FedEx for international items needing quick overnight or 2 day service or for items going to less reliable service areas.
